The role: Test Engineer
As a Test Engineer, you will spend a large part of your time creating test strategies and writing test plans to interact with various groups to test a particular product or a suite of Google products. The remainder of your time will be coding in either C or Java or scripting in Python. Google Test Engineers are expected to find ways to break the code developed by Software Engineer?s.
Google's large variety of products offers an amazing range of opportunities for you to make a big impact on the quality of software seen by millions of people around the world.
Responsibilities:
* Develop test strategies.
* Automate tests using test frameworks.
* Write moderately complex code/scripts to test systems.
* Take responsibility for monitoring product development and usage at all levels with an eye toward improving product quality.
* Create test harnesses and infrastructure.
Requirements:
* BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
* At least 3 years of test automation experience.
* Good coding skills in C , Java, or Python.
* Highly proficient in a Unix/Linux environment.
* Deep knowledge of internet technologies.
